I’ve been working on the same novel for over three years, and once again I feel like I have to start over.

If anyone ever says writing is easy, they are an idiot.

I don’t allow myself to seek perfection in anything but #writing for this reason.

I #feelthis 🙏🫶

I was #writing a novel FOR YEARS & it was just too fckin long: was supposed to be #beachread length with {#id:119601#} potty mouth & vibes, but a #Jerseygirl protagonist.

Eventually it inspired a {#id:24014#} instead👇🤩

#keepwriting 🙏🫶

#cooking is a ridiculous time suck, a huge {#id:34921#}

It’s such a scam that society teaches us we’re supposed to enjoy it.

Yea, some might find that joy.

But it’s a fckin unpaid part-time job until the day you die or go into assisted living 👎👎

I have many #Feelings about this 🤣😆

Not just the time suck, it's the cost of good ingredients. Fresh herbs that I will end up throwing out after using a teaspoonful. Saffron=$$. Oh and there's calories. Of course everything tastes better with tons of butter in it. Making it yummy without the butter? Not so easy. Cooking = not my thing

I know it’s crazy. Ya gotta let go of fresh herbs though, if you hate cooking (for the most part, there are exceptions)

Dry herbs are just fine for most basic recipes.

You need real basil, real mint & sometimes certain recipes are just way better with the real shit, but otherwise? Fck it.
