I know the "who viewed your profile" notification might seem a bit "meh" at first, but it could help with gaining new followers. If we see it doesn't have a positive effect, we will remove it.

I think it's a good addition for harm mitigation. However, there needs to be a way to disable having to see the notifications. I don't get the alarm. This is creepy, but being spyed on without your knowledge is not? 🤷‍♂️

When I view a profile it's usually after a follow or if a Spout interests me. What I look at on the profile: location - a diff country gets my attention, I look at their about maybe we have similar interests or there's something I'd like to learn more about, I may read few spouts Is this nefarious

Nope, and I don't think notifying the user that you visited their profile is either. I'm all for openess and transparency. The demand to only do it in secret seems at least somewhat suspect.

I'm aware my profile is public and I expect people to see it. But I review profiles to help decide if I want to interact with another user. This imposes an interaction before I've made that decision.

Not the biggest thing in the world, but I can do without.

I don't think it's a big deal either but how does it force an interaction? It's just FYI, you don't have to respond. Unless maybe you check them out and discover it's someone you would like to follow, block, or mute - when we get that option. He's already decided to remove it anyway.
