Washington was a monumental figure, but let's not forget others that deserve credit or make stuff up.

Exactly! In hindsight I should have phrased that specific correction more clearly, but I missed the 7-minute edit window.

The Mount Vernon Conference was the closest thing Washington did to presiding over the creation of the Constitution, but that was a precursor to the Philadelphia convention.
