Instead of the GOP’s plan to raise the voting age to 25, I recommend lowering it to 16. If you’re old enough to work and pay taxes, you should be allowed to vote. Where the GOP has lowered the working age, the voting age should likewise be lowered. Otherwise, it’s taxation without representation.

In Scotland, you can register to vote at 14 and then legally vote at 16. But only in national or local elections in Scotland. For UK parliamentary elections, the minimum age to vote is 18.

And though I am not a Scottish citizen, I am allowed to vote because I live here and the law affects me. Whether I work does not factor into the equation.

How about allowing 12-year-old girls to vote. If they can give birth to their rapist's baby or be married off at 12, they should be allowed to vote. 💁‍♀️

agreed, and if not 16, at least 18. If you can go to war and fight for our country, you outta be able to vote. 🤨
