Twitter seemingly bans accounts that post music videos for copyright infringement. What if Spoutible simply asks for videos to be taken down if they get requests for copyright infringement. Sharing music is a great and healthy pastime which, unsurprisingly, can create new interest in a band’s work

Can be done, but must follow #DMCA , which requires creating a notice-and-takedown system so #Copyright owners can control the use of their work. Sharing music is great. However the musical creatives of those works (author, performer, sound recording owner) have to be OK with it & paid accordingly.
