Some places have plenty of water and it isn’t like it can be piped to places that need it. Not all vegetation should be sacrificed to the temple of “u can’t if I can’t” small think.

Conversely just because we can, doesn’t mean we should. Water isn’t going to be an unlimited resource forever. Why not conserve while we still can.

Because there will be places where water will never be a issue and we need to conserve vegetation where we can for cleaning the air, & conserving species to replant when the earth is in balance again. We could kill everything off and be a total desert if we don’t think of conservation as a larger is

I have zero qualms with vegetation. That’s what we should use our water for. I’m talking about manicured lawns that have little environmental value. Especially in already desert climates

I agree in those environments it is stupid to cultivate lawns. Your original spout sounded as if you believed or advocated turning off the tap everywhere.
