On the one hand, the CONSTITUTION says all cabinet members, including AG, serve at the pleasure of the POTUS (which means he can fire any of them for any reason), and the presidential sacred oath says the POTUS SHALL ensure that the laws are enforced.

But if DOJ REFUSES to enforce the law, which side do you think trumps?

Great question and my answer, it depends on who is in power and for what reason they need to choose law over optics. I'm no 'bothsider,' but both sides have favored whatever actions help them look better. The GOP, the most. The 'we are a nation of laws BS, goes out the window as needed.
