153 years ago today, the 15th Amendment was ratified.

It proclaims that no state can deny or abridge a citizen’s right to vote “on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.”

It was made by possible by the votes of Black men enfranchised following the end of the Civil War.

Happy I bumped into you, Fella Texan! (I'm in Austin) Thanks for finding Robert Reich and Brooklyn Dad, I'm still bumbling around looking for folks I was following at the dead bird. Hoping to pick up new buds, too and we garden in the same zone! Fading fast but will follow before I nod out!

Howdy! I have only found a very small number of the profiles I followed on the bird, but it's okay. I find myself spending a lot more time here.
