Yeah, I think it all starts at the State Sec of State level. But I also bet that before long a number of blue states will be working on briefs and relying on Luttig/Tribe and the other two GOP Judges who recently published an article as well. And they'll all go up to SCOTUS together.

This pretty close except there is no clear direction in the 14th how this is put in affect. It sounds like someone with standing (lawyer) needs to petition the secretary of state for their state to remove or not put him on the ballot. Once he is removed or left off the legal challenges began.

And I expect Newsom and Whitmer (who will both also run in '28) to take the lead.....

This essay gives one way it could happen -- through state authorities. (160 char URL!) https://theconversation.com/georgia-indictment-and-post-civil-war-history-make-it-clear-trumps-actio...

Correct. It may even be depending on each states constitution that the Sec of State may be able to just decide on their own. It sounds like depends on how each state runs the ballot eligibility. Sounds also like it has to wind thru state courts first or concurrently with the Feds. Get the popcorn!
