In response to Patricia Gonzalez.
I have vague recollections of being a fun person that people loved to hang out with and talk to. I remember having enough energy to do more than just the bare minimum. I used to make plans for the future, beyond a couple months. I didn't have a notarized will yet, or feel bad for my friends w/kids.

Thank you for responding! I’ve always been an advocate for social justice, but these last 6 years have made me more anxious and angry than I have ever been. I want to be less of those things.

I know that wearing people down so they're too tired/scared to fight back is a tactic being used on us, but knowing doesn't stop its effectiveness. We can only do so much, based on our circumstances. Some days, just surviving is us fighting back. Anger can be channeled into motivation. Keep talking.
