Japan reports wave of Chinese phone harassment after Fukushima discharge
Japanese businesses and groups, ranging from a concert hall in Tokyo to an aquarium in Iwate reported that they had started receiving so many calls from Chinese speakers that they had difficulty conducting normal operations.

Meanwhile in China:
A rock was thrown into the grounds of a Japanese school in Qingdao on Thursday, when the water discharge began, while eggs were hurled Friday at another Japanese school in Suzhou in Jiangsu Province, according to Japanese government sources. Nobody was hurt in those incidents.

As China bans seafood from Japan, scientists have pointed out that China’s own nuclear power plants release wastewater with higher levels of tritium than that found in Fukushima’s discharge, and that the levels are all within boundaries not considered to be harmful to human health.
