We may need community, but we don't need church or religion

Not even, as the article purported, to teach values like forgiveness. It's been made clear, especially in recent years, that being a member of a church does NOT mean you have values--of any kind.

Also, most atheists are more "Christ-like"

Agreed…how can we find meet up groups in third places that expand our experiences and perceptions without the trappings that feel so triggering to so many? Plus, I wanna sing together….something in that!

People can look locally or online for groups that fit their needs via newspapers, forums, socials, etc

Meetup is a great site for people all over the world to find others with similar interests to have in-person events with. You can create groups there too.
