We need more trees. We need more fruit producing trees, but people are often hesitant to pick the fruit in cities that have fruit producing trees planted. Why are we in the USA hesitant to pick fruit? Do we think it’s illegal? Unsafe? Too much work? I’m genuinely curious!

I think it’s a society behavior thing. Or maybe it’s just being an introvert. Like I’d feel so weird picking from a random tree on someone’s property. Only if it was a neighbor and I asked. Or they offered.

Yeah, I do assume that trees that produce fruit belong to someone when I see them. Respecting property is a legitimate reason.

Yep. That and wondering what pollutants are in the dirt. That could be a cause for concern.
