I love this! Adolescence is a time of massive brain development that starts with onset of puberty and, biologically speaking, extends to age 25 - or older. It's a time of self-discovery and sorting out one's place in the world. It's tough AND wonderful.

I love this.
I remember when my kids were teens. We always allowed our kids to disagree with us if they could do it respectfully. Often times they debated rules/decisions we made and won (with logic and facts). My parents felt we were too lenient with them.
They are now amazing adults.

Oh, brilliant, dazzling YOU! I tell parents that you WANT your kids to be independent thinkers and decision makers. They don't magically become so because of the legal age of adulthood. It takes years of practice - AND mistakes.

You did GREAT! Made my day! 🧡
