Yesterday's Spoutible news: I hope everyone understands Twitter/X TOS update clarifies all the data YOU agree to give Musk if you continue to use Twitter/X. YOU are also now agreeing to NEVER SUE Twitter/X w/the new TOS. YOU also agree that YOUR posted content can be used WITHOUT ANY compensation.

Jfc. Is any way to delete my info so that he no longer has access to it? Or does my leaving twitter just mean he can use my with my data however he wants and I have no control?

This is a tricky question. Prior to yesterday's TOS update you could delete your account and Twitter/X promised that within 30 days your data was erased completely from its servers. The new TOS still allows you to delete your account, however Twitter/X now has permission to keep your data.

Basically, Musk is using people's lack of determination and laziness with leaving Twitter against them. In theory, Musk gave millions of users almost 1 solid year to archive your Twitter/data, scrape the lists of contacts you wish to keep, and erase all personal data from the platform.
