I call on those of us who are Caucasion to amplify the reality of this longstanding, racist double standard. Long past time to hold ourselves accountable.

#WhiteSupremacy will only change when white folks do the work. FOR REAL. (Not just a performative #spout , like this might seem to be.)

Black & Brown people are often held to a higher standard than our Caucasian counterparts, and we often face criticism for things our Caucasian counterparts don't. Here are the policies from Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, but the 3-week-old startup gets the criticism? Sounds legit.

In response to Carol Norris.
This goes hand in hand with not speaking for the experiences of marginalized groups. There's a space where we can speak to issues and there's a space where we can listen and continue to learn and there's a space where our presence is not needed at all. All of these spaces deserve our equal respect.

ABSOLUTELY!! Never ever speaking for. That is yet another example of #WhiteSupremacy . Super glad you overtly named it, as that awareness/practice is crucial.
