Anybody else out there always tired? I could take a nap an hour after waking up. It’s hard to keep my eyes open at work. Driving makes me sleepy. I’ve been tested for multiple things. No medical explanation. #tired #Naptime

as someone who has suffered from similar issues (e.g. longing for the weekend to sleep 20+ hours): please have your thyroid checked. The most frequently checked value, TSH, doesn´t tell the whole story. Mine was always OK, while the other thyroid indicators were off kilter obviously for years.

I don’t know which tests they did but I have had that checked at least twice and they said everything was normal.

In my experience TSH doesn´t tell the whole story and in my support group I was far from alone. More important are fT3, fT4 , antibodies and a sonogramm of the thyroid. Hashimoto´s disease is very common in women, but woefully underdiagnosed. Maybe find an online support group to get more info?

I don’t know where I would find that but I’m definitely going to look into it. Coffee gets me through the workday, mostly, but I’m still tired throughout. People are always surprised at how much I want to sleep, and can if I’m allowed to.
