I've always maintained that Trump's approach to this deadly virus only galvanized the resistance of doubters, & when we were most vulnerable, with no vaccine nor effective meds, accelerated the spread instead of everyone uniting to shut it down at the start, a deliberately negligent & criminal act.

Not to mention that it disproportionately affected black, brown, indigenous people of which he was very aware. I think that this was a contributing factor to his reluctance to act swiftly.
