Slavery has been over in this nation since 1864, yet Blacks had to watch as Confederates were given reparations and given privilege based on their whiteness. 100 years later was Civil Rights which is chipped away every day. So, voting will solve what?

Convenient. Improving for whom? And let me be clear: I'm not saying not to vote. I am saying that shouldn't things be "improved" for some communities that really are only played lip service to during election cycles?

Well, naturally… those who vote.
And, yes, you are absolutely right that some get shafted more than others.

As long as you recognize that not voting is giving someone else the say in what happens and to whom.
