I stayed on X because there’s people that I like to read but aren’t on here yet. But for me, this is where I get off the ride. Elmo is tracking biometric data so yeah bye

I did same, but can't do much on there anymore for a couple of months since mid-July. I decided to get ready to shut down my acct & went to delete some tweets, but it won't let me! Now I'm concerned I won't be able to delete my acct. Not sure what to do.

I think deactivating deletes everything but I’m not sure. I deactivated and it gave me a notice about 30 days, so I think after 30 days it’s gone for good. What isn’t letting you? Deleting tweets or deactivating in settings?

I can't delete any tweets, haven't tried deactivating yet (Twitter msgs still work & I want to save some). On Twitter, I can only "like" tweets. Can't reply, retweet, see/watch pics/videos. I can again see some replies, but not extended posts or threads. I'm like a ghost, no interaction with others.

I mean he is fully breaking the app, and it’s not all intentional.

Thank you. I'm glad you mentioned this. I have a number of messages I want to copy & save from a good friend who is no longer with us. We had some good, meaningful conversations on subjects of mutual interest, including caring for our disabled family members. Then I guess I'll try deactivating. TY
