Mr. N and I heard this on SiriusXM Yacht Rock a couple of weeks ago, both convinced it as Michael McDonald singing backing vocals. Fun fact - McDonald's publishing company sued Dupree because it sounded so much like "What A Fool Believes."

Correction...what a fool was written in 78 and recorded a few times. Hmmmm...
