I've been eligible to vote since 2000, and I haven't missed an election, on any level, yet. Why would I take for granted a right many have been denied, fought for, and died for over the centuries? Voting is not just a right to me, but an obligation.

Same since 1971. I was a 26th amendment new voter (so now you can figure out how old I am). Every year in my K-8 classes we took a day to talk about the importance of voting, etc. Yes, I always had to take a breath to avoid ranting when some students said their parents didn't vote because....
