My #molcajete from Mexico arrived today. I’ll be curing and seasoning it tomorrow. There is a slight overhang on the inside rim that will take some extra grinding but otherwise it looks great.

After three hours of grinding salt and rice I baked it for an hour with a layer of raw garlic, salt and grape seed oil. Tomorrow I will brush scrub it and it is ready to use.
