Civility platitudes seem right/nice but some of us need our anger RN to fight at all. Saying anger solves nothing is like saying gas won't get you down the road. (Sure, until you put it in a car.) Anger is fuel, how we USE it matters. Some of us are so tired, our hope's dried up. Leave us our anger.

I realize the OP didn't post it with this intention, not attacking them, I attack issues. I've seen these pleasant-sounding memes make their rounds on FB, and watch them quell folks' conviction for action, needed for change. There's a behavioral element to these that doesn't sit well with me.

In a time when many grift off perverting the truth itself, the wealthy sue/steal from the poor/marginalized, bigots win, the just, lose, $ is all-powerful yet billionaires fashion themselves misunderstood 'victims'. We're entitled to our anger to strengthen our resolve in such times.
