Feed the Gator: An instruction manual for beginners
Location is important for this one and probably limited to people in Louisiana, Florida and parts of Georgia or South Carolina. You need a swamp, large lake or bay with resident alligators. Remote or on private land preferred.

Step 1: If possible, chop the body into 4-6 pieces and tie into a bundle with thin but sturdy rope. Something that will rot and degrade, because the environment. At the very least, puncture the abdomen to release gas build up as the body decays, which might cause the body to float to the surface.

Note: Gators cannot chew, so they typically stash their prey under water until it decomposes enough that they can rip off a hunk and swallow it whole. So you’re just plating their dinner. Might be a good idea to check on the body the first couple days in case it floats up.

Warning: Please wear sunscreen and insect repellent for this procedure. Some hip waders would also be nice. Maybe a big stick in case you run into a gator yourself. And take a moment to dig for crawfish. I love a good crawfish boil with taters and corn.
