Entirely relevant to note where the water comes from. Like in a UK dairy farm it almost all comes from the sky and is mostly ingested via eating grass.

I think it is one sided to just have a look at the water usage. A more comprehensive benchmark imo would be the "ecological footprint"

Infographic says the #s are for the amount of milk you drink each year. Everyone I know drinks a lot less of Oat and Almond, etc. Are we sure that this is a direct comparison such as 100 gal of dairy to 100 of soy.
