Sea Angel (known as a pteropod). A planktonic slug that is adapted to have swimming wings

There are also shelled versions called sea butterflies, that create a mucus web to catch falling particles to feed on.

Marrus orthocanna, a species of siphonophore, which is a colonial organism related to a jellyfish.

Siphonophores can be quite large (this one can get up to 5-6 feet long) - not all plankton are small, it just means they are drifters!

Phronima, which is a type of hyperiid amphipod.

This organism is parasitic and hollows out the bodies of gelatinous zooplankton called salps to lay their eggs in.

Also, fun fact, Phronima was what inspired the movie Alien.
