The moment I stopped wondering about my father and what he was like was when I became a father myself and knew there was no way I could ever walk away from my family. Stopped thinking about him all the time and invested my time in being a dad and it has been amazing watching my daughters grow up.

Wow, your dad is missing out on what you have become, as well as his grandchildren.

It unimaginable to travel life and not give your best to your loved ones. Perhaps, there was a fork in his road that handicapped his travels to be with his loved ones. His demons to tame.

Ultimately, an awful hand became a gift to your children. Good parenting is a lot to learn even when you have a great role model. I’m so impressed you made being the best dad a priority and left the hurt in the past. 💛

Proud of you. Dads who abandon their kids don't deserve a second thought. Goid for you!
