Today's rage spout: Healthcare. Our current "most free country in the world" has the stance that only people with money deserve quality health care. If you have a job and contribute to the GDP, you get subsidized Healthcare costs by your employer, which most people can get by on

If you lose your job? Oh no problem you can go on cobra while you find another job. Yeah cobra is about 10 times more expensive than what you were paying for. Too much to pay when you don't have a job?, weird, but Ok,you can go on the state exchange. It's only about 5 times more expensive

With about 25% of the coverage you had, oh and you can't see the same Dr you've been seeing, oh and there's no appointments for any quality Dr's within a few miles of where you live, and when you get an appt 6 months later, you have to recount your entire med history

Start all over with tests and scrips. Probably can't get your same scrips either, have to get pre auth. Etc etc etc. Now say you can't work for whatever reason, or can only work part time and your employer doesn't offer insurance or you can't qualify.

So you get on Medicaid. Then the powers that be in your state decide that you make $10 more than the absolute bare minimum to qualify you for Medicaid and they kick you off. So you're back in the trenches with no health care, so you stop taking your meds

Then you can't work because you can't take your meds, so you go back on assistance. I could go on and on and on. When did we decide it was OK to say that some people don't deserve to see a Dr? Oh right, FREEDOM
