You can use search operators with our search.

Use quotes for an exact match.

Example: "Biden"

Use the + sign for results with both keywords. Remember to use a space.

Example: Biden + Election

Use the - sign to tell our search engine not to return results with a keyword.

Example: Biden -Trump.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but when I use the search bar it doesn't how me stories — only users with those words in their screen name. So I would get someone who calls themselves 'Biden Won the Election," but not news stories at all. ???

Sounds like your searching on the "people" tab instead of the "spouts" tab.

It just says "Search Spoutible." I don't see a "people" tab.

I can only speak to the app. The tabs I'm referring to are below the search box.

The Search Spoutible bar when you’re on your Timeline only searches people.

You need to click EXPLORE (the compass icon). When I’m Explore, there is a search bar at the top where you can click tabs to search by Spouts, News, or People.
