The source of this piece is neither a news source nor an unbiased one at that.
It is a rightwing opinion piece from a Russian supporter based in the UK.
This is exactly the type of propaganda that should not be allowed in any honest fact based debate.

One can look at facts and come to different conclusions. His assessment of a stalemate scenario is pessimistic—but can’t be dismissed-rather, it must be met head on by an acceleration of all needed aid to Ukraine. The scenario he paints IS possible and we must do our utmost to avoid.

Very true, however, using a source who doesn't even claim to be a news source and whose "facts," are questionable at best does nothing to promote clarity. It does just the opposite. It muddys the water which makes it even harder to see what's really going on.

If by the source you mean MacTague, he is a long-time prize-winning political reporter. His sources are the UK/FR/Ger officials mentioned in the article. He is not, by far, the only journalist reporting on ongoing Euro nervousness. And what facts in the article are "questionable" exactly?
