I continue to share the difference between an Echo - appears on the timelines and a “like” which only the Sprouter sees. I appreciate “likes” but “echoes” spread the word. #EchoesMatter

With no algorithm to re-surface content, any spout only has the legs the community gives it. I echo anything I think is fun, or interesting, or informative, or just funny, so others get a chance to see it. With no algorithm, things disappear pretty quickly unless they get boosted by someone else.

I posted something last week that got 0 likes and echoes... On Monday somebody echoedmit. Then it was re-echoed over and ove and over againr, and its probably my most high profile post now... all because someone echoed it days and days after it was posted.
