The lack of participation is frustrating to say the least, agreed. But the fact that young people trend to the left is important.

If they don't vote it's meaningless. Right now it is old people who are voting and are the engines of change. This country was saved by a bunch of Dem leaders that are all over 70. I doubt the avg person under 30 cares about politics at all at least in my work.

If they care at all they just protest and complain online about capitalism, climate change, both parties are the same, and old people need to get out of the way so real progressives can take over
