But doesn't that presume he wasn't indicted when selected? He SHALL step aside IF indicted... Doesn't say you can't elect someone under indictment.

maybe in the rules... but trumps not a member of the house... so of course that's a sidestep... but who knows what trump would do, previously he's said it's not something he'd accept... but he's been known to lie a bit. 😁
