Thank you. I am just now learning the meaning of generational trauma. It was passed on from my dad to his 6 kids born in the USA. Now I feel the trauma the Ukrainians are feeling and I am not even there. It’s as if the pain my father locked inside is bleeding out through me.

Trauma is like that. It forms us and then we pass on those emotional responses. Even those who locked it away created coping skills that affected relationships. Some don't even know why they are the way they are emotionally. No harm in a little quality counselling to improve your life.
