Well duh!

What makes her the G.O.A.T. to me is how she prioritized her mental well-being. She showed Black women and girls its not just okay - but necessary - to care for yourself and REST.

She's changed the sport for the better and we've got MORE talented Black gymnasts coming down the pike.

I’m sure she had a sense of the flack she would face and I’m pretty sure she has high standards that would have made the decision very difficult. And she did it, she listened to herself and put that inner wisdom first. That’s a strong wise woman at a truly exceptional and radical level.
