If Dems want to perform well in the next election cycle, they should stop running away from Biden. Embrace the progress achieved under Biden and show the people how much more can be done with little help from everyone who wants a better life. Remember republicans got nothing to offer.

Here is an article about the situation you just mentioned. Everyone should read it and communicate it to the people you think matter who will listen. It's not just criticism. It's proposing a messaging solution.

It’s also that the media tends to phrase even economic good news as somehow “bad news for Democrats”. I literally saw “soaring inflation” articles, when inflation was coming down. And that low unemployment was a bad economic sign. And if they do write about improving signs, Biden is never credited.

IMO any "Dem" distancing themselves from Biden isn't a real Dem and should be primaried by real Dems.

Dems need to quit mentioning tfg. The DOJ will keep his name in the news. Dems need to HIGHLIGHT all the GREAT news and accomplishments Biden has pushed through a divided Congress.

1000% Biden-Harris are a dynamic duo - passing historic legislation and looking out for all of us! Love them!!

Exactly. Running away from Clinton cost the Democrats in 2000.

I completely agree. Even if something terrible should happen after the election and Biden is unable to continue, that means that 1) we would have the first black female President, and 2) she would have ample time before 2028 to demonstrate her capability.

And I especially don't want to hear any threats to primary Democrats.

THIS. Dems ran from Obama and the ACA in 2010 and 2012, and it cost us control of Congress. We need to run on Biden's accomplishments and quit trying to make common ground with the MAGAs - there IS none, and the MAGAs won't vote for a Dem anyway.

Good Call. One of the mistakes Gore made in 2000 was not embracing Clinton on the campaign until late in the cycle.

Yes, they made the same mistake when Obama was in office. The smarter politicians are embracing Biden.

As tempting as it would be to believe, as several Democrats want to, that the Republican candidates will cannibalize themselves between Haley, DeSantis, Trump et al, that is not a reliable bet. Dems who sleep on this election are helping Republicans.

I can’t understand the aversion (I guess that’s the right word) some Democrats seem to have when it comes to President Biden.

Thank you. This is how I knew Ohio Tim would lose. He ran away from POTUS & reproductive health care.

If reproductive rights won in Kansas, Tim could have rode it to victory, and didn’t.

But had the nerve to email me daily begging for money. Nope.

Are you talking about Tim Ryan? Why on earth did he not campaign on reproductive rights, and on top of that, distance himself from POTUS?
