I guess I'm posting this for Americans who have a tendency to confuse religion with everything: Imagine someone coming to your home and telling you, "It's ours now. We're taking it all." But you know all this, perhaps. It was done to Native Americans, was it not?

It isn't - yet it is. It's the same for Ukrainians. And it's the same for us, here in Cyprus when the Turks invaded, colonised, took our homes, my home. They did it twice. Last time was in 1974. They are still here and they've imported settlers from mainland Turkey in the 100s of 1000s.

We not only took their continent but then killed them when they wanted to keep their language, religion, cultural practices, dances, art, etc. We could have learned so much from them instead of regarding them as vermin.
None of my schools had a graveyard.

I sometimes wonder if the reason why the U.S. gives carte blanche to Israel is because it too, is a brutal colonizer and to do otherwise would open up a chorus of "double standard hypocrisy".
