Capitalism can't work for healthcare. No one shops around for trauma care after they've had an accident. You don't get to choose what ambulance will get you when you're having a heart attack. The basic driving forces that keep costs under control in capitalism are not applicable for healthcare.

In addition to my longer post, medical insurance that has unlimited costs is not beneficial to the people. If my doc says I need a blood draw that costs X$s but then the insurance company will only pay X$s, but I have no visibility, or influence, on that cost difference, I am always paying more than
