MORNING QUESTION:
I love this.
What movie do you wish you could see again for the first time?
Something that surprised you, made you laugh unexpectedly, brought you joy you carried with you for days...
You can wipe your memory and see an old movie with new eyes.
Which one would you pick and why?

So I watched Frozen for the first time ever with my daughter and I really enjoyed it. It’s amazing how different the fairytales that my daughter will grow up watching are than what I grew up with. I love that a man didn’t save the day.

Dr. Zhivago (no, autocorrect, it’s not Dr. Chicago 😡). Made me see residents of the Soviet Union as people, not as monsters. Prepared me for what Gorbachev did—and why.

Ted. My husband and I saw it and were surprised and laughing our butts off. There was a much older woman next to us and the look on her face made it even funnier.

Fallen. The ending caught me by surprise. I love that.
