Hey so anyone that picked up/picking up the Pixel 8 or 8 Pro I have has a question

Is there an advantage to taking 12 MP shots over the 50MP (should we just set it to 50MP always)?

Also, why is 10-bit HDR off by default??

You're going to use a lot more storage if you leave it at 50. Plus the 50 MP setting take up-to a second to take a photo. So unless you're always using stabilization, you will have blurry shots. Try and see what I mean. Take a shot with the 12 MP. Then switch to 50. You'll experience a delay.
