According to a report on The Daily Beans #mswmedia it's because the oath doesn't actually include the word "support". 😏 Would like to survey a bunch of lexicographers whether support can be inferred from "preserve, protect and defend". 🤔 🙄

"...establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, ..." including the Bill of Rights is what he is preserving, protecting & defending.

Yeah, but the word "support" is not there, right? His only legitimate defense is he's a narcissistic idiot but lawyers can't come out and say "Your honor, our client may know & say all the best words but they mean nothing to him because he is a sociopath so all we have is nonsensical arguments."
