I watched Murnau’s 1927 Sunrise once again and it’s still one of the best films I’ve ever seen. I finally saw it with my fave Nashville band Lambchop’s new 2004 score and my mind was blown numerous times.

I've got to see that with Lambchop's soundtrack.

I thought it was superb. The precise placement of music to match scenes was masterful. The peak of the entire sessions, or at what I call the most sublime moment of those two albums, occurs at the zenith of the film. Sheer perfection. I want to do it again.
