Way back when Chris Bouzy asked us what we most wanted on Spoutible, I voted for no trolls as #1 . To me the brutal trolling of women was the most evil aspect of Twitter, among several. Obviously I never experienced it but I read about it all the time. So I hope this has been achieved here.

Yes ! Most certainly. I like the peace over here. Have rules to play by and enforce them

It has! Not once have I gotten propositioned or been insulted here ~ it's really such a relief to get news, tidbits & jokes from other *adults*!

Yes. This community knows how to respect everyone. It's a space in which good dialogue and exchange of ideas is possible.

I hope this holds up! It’s become more important to me now than the other aspects of this type of platform, like which journalists are actively using it. I don’t want it to devolve into a Twitter.

I feel completely safe here on Spoutible. Twitter is a cesspool of bullies, stalkers, terrorists, criminals, sexual predators, trolls, bots.

I think the mobile (cell) verification at sign up will reduce the Trolls/Bots

Thus far #Spoutible seems OK troll wise

Our lone Democratic rep, who is a female, had the "furries" anti-trans guy sick his misogynistic troll army on her. It was disgusting. She gets enough because how dare Republicans have less that ABSOLUTE one-party rule with NO opposition

It’s totally quiet here. I just joined Twitter in July, and got surprised with what goes on there as a woman. Took me a few weeks to get porn out my searches. Elon takes over and am looking at a video of sick dogs, next video full on porn!! Never mind men sniffing for sex.

Coming from IT specifically from requirements for UI to servers, I can tell you that it's impossible to block trolls from the point they're opening their accounts because by law user name is free entries without validation like financial institutions & gov do with mandatory SIN/Social Security #/ID

It will never be totally eliminated, but here on Spoutible it will be nipped in the bud.

So far, so good. I never used my pronouns much on the 🐦 and didn't always correct the trolls when they assumed I was a guy, because I didn't want to be another target. Still remaining somewhat anonymous, buy comfortably revealing more about myself here.

🐳 has been structured in a way to limit the probability of trolling. As far as i can tell, any trolling attempts thus far have failed dismally. The trolls do show up, but don't last very long.

I haven’t had an issue yet. Is there a mechanism for blocking on here?

when I opened this acct, I hesitated with the handle, because I'd switched to a non-gendered handle after being harassed by men on Twitter. It's a vote of confidence I used my name here. Cautiously hopeful.
