We have the same problem in Wisconsin. The gerrymandered Rs in the lege have never seen a genuine problem too big to ignore. Child care crashing, gavel the special session called by Gov. Evers open and closed within 30 seconds.

You would think employers would wring their necks because it makes it harder to hire but they don't much seem to mind. They got their pet lege to pass tax cuts for them and that's all they really care about. If they can't hire anyone they just complain and blame Gov. Evers.

The republican party is like a dead corpse. It cannot be revived . It needs to be cremated hopefully, like the Phoenix, a better conservative party will rise from the ashes.

Perfect encapsulation of these people who care nothing about the true meaning of public service and the awesome responsibilities of governing.

They push others out of the way the minute they spot someone with a camera and microphone. It's all about being a "star". A star wannabe!
