This is something that’s long overdue. 3 out of my 4 kids graduated College, yet I’m amazed how little they know about American Government, and Civics.

This is a great idea!

I don't know how it's taught in the US, but we learned it in pieces throughout school and I retained very little about provincial & federal, and recalled almost nothing on US government. I had to relearn it as an adult... but that was my fault for not being interested.

Every state has a different curriculum. My kids had to learn about New York State history. American history is generally taught in high school. You get a little in the lower grades, but not with much depth. They stopped teaching civics when my Mom was a kid.
