My husband is Middle Eastern

I didn't know him during & immediately after 9/11 but he experienced discrimination just for being Middle Eastern at the time

I have concerns!

He's not even Muslim and
I
Have
Concerns

Cause people are too emotional!

They’re not just too emotional—they’re Islamophobic and anti-Semitic. I was horrified by what I saw here post-9/11, and I’m scared now. My kids’ former school—Jewish—played a football game recently and the losing team’s spectators and a few players did the Nazi salute at the end—in Los Angeles.

So I think you’re absolutely justified in having concerns. This country’s loyalty and care for its immigrant and non-White, non-Christian citizens and residents goes only as deep as the next crisis.

And I don't truly believe they are "scared" of anything

Just plain racist

There is no phobia/fear

Those are the words coined for such bigotry and hate, but I absolutely understand what you mean.

Just being clear about racism cause flowery words are obvious

It's 2023, we can call racism, racism and bigotry, bigorty

I'm not here for anyone's feelings on that issue

Too many people get hurt when you're not frank & honest
