i wonder where Musk got the delusional impression that people on Twitter would actually want others on Twitter to be able to call them. if someone really wants to talk with someone else, both most likely already have zoom,skype,telegram,whatsapp or another of dozens of apps to do so

So is he sharing phone numbers including his? I haven't been on there for a couple of weeks intentionally. I got notifications of new rules to accept. I don't want my number shared.

no, as far as i know they integrated telephony features in X, so instead of just sending people DMs, they could now initiate a voice call. people can deactivate that feature in settings, but that feature is an absurdly intrusive concept in my opinion

If people wanted a phone call they could share it in a dm. So seems edging on less privacy. And I think there is too little of that already. Everything should be a default to privacy unless choosing otherwise.
