Once again today, we see Trump-nominated judges eviscerate abortion rights. This time, three 2d Circuit judges he nominated have ruled a private employer can fire employees for seeking an abortion. Which until Dobbs, of course, was a protected right.

I can hear them chip, chip, chipping away at our rights. I don't think they'll know what to do when women begin cleaning house at the voting booth.

How is this remotely legal in 2023? I can’t believe I had more rights as a young woman than my daughters do!

My Family can’t have access to my private health records if I don’t grant them explicit permission but by all means let the Government and my Employer have full access.

Great point. That’s hopefully how this will be reversed. If it can be.

OMG 😱. An employer as well as the government should have absolutely no say in my health rights. This is total BS! This makes me so angry 😡

So what are we going to do? GOP is going to steal every right they can from women, Dems will say they can't do anything but send money and vote....anyone have an idea? We could change the world in a month with a strike/protest/boycott, or just watch them steal steal steal.

Long term I believe to take back control of our govt by ending the poewr of Dark Money on elections, and winning back the courts from the current ideologues. (See: Sheldon Whitehouse) But short term? (shrug) Getting voters to realize the deregulation/lower taxes for the rich endangers us all.

So many lines of civil rights violations are being crossed. Why in the heck would an employer need to know about an employee’s personal health choices? This is the Republican idea of “freedom”. THEY want the freedom to trump everyone else’s rights. The road to fascism, through our uteruses.

Roll back to when Piyush "Bobby" Jindal was in Louisiana's governor's mansion. Employers could terminate for cult membership or lack thereof, suspected homosexuality, or lack of procreation. Yes, they could, they did, and the EEOC did not give one tiny flying frog fuck.
