When moving house, always set up your bedroom and make the bed first so when you’re exhausted and just had enough you can fall into bed.

Nothing worse than being exhausted and having to make the bed before getting into it.

I would also add, pack the coffee pot and all needed supplies in a special box that is taken with you to the new place. Meds too, especially tylenol or ibruprofen.

Parmesan cheese lids fit on regular mouth size mason jars.
Lots of uses!

Yep, bed and bedding should always be last thing on the truck and first thing off the truck. Source: have moved more than 25 times in my life. I've got that shit on lock.

Good idea, I like to pack a bag for 10 days. That gives me clothes, toothbrush etc for a while til I can get set up.

I always took the bedding, wrapped it all up in the bedspread, and took it with me so I would have it handy. This time I'll put it in a trash bag and have them load it on the truck last so it'll be first off.

Put a kettle, cups and some tea, coffee or whatever in one box and keep track of it, you will want a beverage.
